Well, mark your calendars because International Goth Day is just around the corner on the 22nd of May. To celebrate we are throwing not one but TWO epic events in Brisbane! Get your best goth gear on and get ready for a weekend of darkness to party with the Tragics! Best of all, both events have FREE ENTRY!
First, we are sponsoring a killer party at the Jolly Roger Bar in Fortitude Valley on Saturday, May 20th held by Club 1334. This is the ultimate celebration of all things dark and macabre, with resident DJs Poisondwarf, Andrew Bartlett, and VilLain spinning the best deathrock, trad-goth & horror punk tunes all night long. The Tragic Beautiful team will be there to celebrate, and we'll be giving out door prizes and crowning one gorgeous goth a best dressed prize at midnight!
Dress to impress in your black leather, ripped fishnets, and favourite Demonia boots for an unforgettable evening of great music, vibes, and people. RSVP and invite your friends now to secure your spot on the guestlist for express entry, as space is strictly limited to 100 guests! Plus, 1334 will be livestreaming from the venue, so even if you can't make it in person, you can still join us on the dancefloor.

But that's not all! On Sunday, May 21st, we're teaming up with Brisbane's favourite bar & arcade, Netherworld, for DOOM + GLOOM for an evening of gothic goodness. Enter the Netherworld & you'll be met with classic goth vinyl spun by DJ Doom of 4ZZZ's Brizzzbane Batcave, live music by Cloud Tangle and Diaspora the Explorer, and strange and unusual specials from the Hellmouth Diner.
We'll be at this event with even MORE prizes, including door prizes and a massive gothic hamper for one lucky goth to score. We'll also have a gothic photo op space to capture all the ghoulish goings ons of the event!
And if you're not confident in your gothic makeup skills, no worries, because Makeup by Moonchild will be there to help you unleash your inner Goth.
