Creepers, or brothel creepers as they’re otherwise known, are a classic shoe style beloved by alternative fashion fiends. They first became popular in the 1950s and were adopted by punks, mods, rockabillies, rockers and, of course, goths. 

They’re an incredibly comfortable alternative to boots and high heels and feel as secure as wearing a sneaker. Nowadays there’s so many creeper styles in velvet, faux leather, vinyl, leopard print and faux suede. You can even get creeper wedges, flatforms and platform creepers from our favourite gothic shoe brand Demonia!

ARE YOUR CREEPERS ETHICAL OR VEGAN FRIENDLY?

Yes! Our creepers are absolutely vegan friendly. Each product description will give you the specifics but both Demonia and Killstar offer a wide range of vegan friendly products, including these creeper shoes.

Tragic Beautiful is committed to being sustainable, fair and ethical. We all deserve to look fabulous but it shouldn’t be at the cost of animals or the environment!

CAN I PICK UP MY CREEPERS RATHER THAN WAIT FOR SHIPPING?

If you live in Brisbane you can totally collect your creepers if you like. You can even try them on when you visit us so you can be sure of your sizing.  We’re in Meadowbrook, so if you can get to us, select the ‘pick up from warehouse’ option during purchase.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

If you order in stock creepers before 1pm AEST, we’ll ship your order that same day. We use Australia Post so the time it takes to get your creepers will depend on where you live. All shoes are sent with tracking and marked with signature upon delivery via default to ensure your goodies arrive safely.

International orders are handled by Australia Post and your country’s local postal service e.g. USPS, NZ Post, Royal Mail, etc so you can use the same tracking number with your local website for more details when they land in your country.

WHAT SIZE CREEPERS DO I NEED?

You’ll see a size guide on every product page to help you make an informed choice. From our own experience, Demonia women’s creepers tend to run small so we recommend sizing up. Demonia unisex or men’s creepers run standard but remember that men’s sizing is 2 less than your size in women’s!

Killstar footwear tends to run large so be sure to size up in their creepers.

We accept most payment methods. Everyone should be able to look amazing on their own terms. We don’t restrict who can wear what so we don’t restrict payment methods either.
